making your dreams a reality, without the hassle
We’ve been there, we’ve done it. We’re homeowners as well and we know that it can be a real headache to plan out all the details and keep everything within a certain budget. As your hometown husband and wife contractors, we will take you through every step and answer every question along the way. And when the project is over, our relationship doesn’t end there because we remain available for ongoing support and maintenance.

Holistic Approach
We are homeowners, just like you. We’ve stood in your shoes before. Our heart is to listen and learn about your family and your unique needs and goals for your outdoor kitchen and/or living space so that it will best serve you now and in the future. As a result, our design consultation will include a list of in-depth questions that allow us to get to know you well. These include:
• Is this your “forever home?” If not, how long do you plan to be in this home?
• Is ROI important to you?
• How do you intend to use your outdoor living space?
• What do you NOT like about your backyard currently, and why?
• If you had an unlimited budget, how would you transform your backyard?
• Which item on your wishlist is the highest priority to you?
• Are there issues with the inside of your home (for example, no workspace, small kitchen, small dining space, inadequate storage, etc.) that an outdoor living space may help resolve?
For more questions to consider, please refer to our project questionnaire.
Budget Determination
As contractors, we practice total transparency with our clients and ask for the same in return. It’s important that we agree on a clearly-defined project budget from the outset of the design phase. We will work hard to stick to that budget as we bring your custom-designed outdoor living space to life.
Project Estimates & Concept Sketches
In our initial meeting, we’ll determine your family’s needs and budget. Next, we’ll use that information to produce a detailed estimate sheet. We’ll also provide you with hand-drawn designs, plans, and elevations to give you a better feel for the completed project. The estimate will be used as a basis for our construction agreement. Upon signing, we’ll move into the pre-construction phase.

Pre-Construction
Visualizing the Space
We’ll meet you on-site with material samples, color samples, stakes, and string. Physically standing in the space will allow us to visualize the scale and positioning of your build.
Renderings & Plans
We produce 3D renderings and order other documents, such as architectural or structural engineering plans, as needed.
Construction Documents
We start the administrative processes. This can include securing municipal permits, HOA approvals, and financing documents. If you have a lender, we will work with them to provide all the documents they need regarding the construction of your outdoor kitchen and/or living space. In addition, we will provide you with a detailed timeline that outlines a clear path to the completion of your project.

Pay Structure
We are pay-as-you-go contractors, committed to 100% transparency with our clients. As such, we only submit draw requests for work that is currently in-process or for materials that must be ordered in advance. In other words, we request only the funds needed for each stage of the project, rather than requiring the entire amount up-front. You can rest easy knowing that you’ll have full knowledge of what your money is being used for at every step.
Quality Management
We are personally on-site for each phase of the job. Cahill is our only project supervisor, which guarantees that there will be no communication lost between sales, design, and project management. He meets with each tradesperson on-site, often including multiple craftsmen in meetings to ensure that everyone is on the same page. Additionally, we keep you involved with each phase of the project, frequently revisiting our plan to make sure that your vision for your outdoor living space is being executed to your satisfaction.
Our Tradespeople
Our craftsmen are trustworthy and excellent at what they do.
Each person that sets foot on your property has either worked on our home or one of our own family member’s homes. Plus, a good number of the tradespeople we contract with have been mastering their craft for more than 25 years.

Final Inspections
We complete final inspections of your custom-designed outdoor living space with the city, the bank, and most importantly, you.
Ongoing Support
Even after project completion, we are available to provide ongoing maintenance to your outdoor cooking appliances, including grills and fireplaces. Additionally, we offer seasonal clean-ups to ensure the maximal enjoyment of your outdoor cooking, eating, and entertaining space year-round.
Future Projects
If you have follow-up projects that you have chosen to defer to a later date, we will provide updated estimates for those projects when needed. As a member of the Worthy Outdoors family, you can be confident that we are here for you and will prioritize your future backyard construction needs.
