Our Story
Husband-and-wife team Cahill and Trina Hooker have combined their hobbies, backgrounds, and work experience to bring you Worthy Outdoors. When not working or taking care of their two girls, the Hookers’ favorite place to be is in Cahill’s childhood backyard cooking burgers in the outdoor kitchen for friends and family. Having lived in Fort Worth for ten years, they are familiar with the unique challenges and joys of cooking, eating, and entertaining outside in North Texas. They are passionate about giving other families the opportunity to enjoy more time in their own backyards.
From a young age, Cahill helped his father, an old-world carpenter, build fences, decks, and patios. In more recent years, he has completed commercial and residential roofing projects, down-to-the-studs renovation projects, pergolas, fireplaces, outdoor kitchens, and more. Though he enjoys all aspects of general contracting, Cahill’s love for outdoor cooking and entertaining has naturally resulted in a career as a custom backyard designer, specializing in outdoor kitchens.
Trina and Cahill have always made a great team and enjoy working together. Her eye for design, space, and organization complement his years of technical construction knowledge and personal experience with outdoor cooking. Together, they can help transform your backyard into an outdoor living space worthy of you and your family’s time.
